Do you want to insert banners into an automated campaign and don’t want to redo all the campaigns you use banners in every time? There’s nothing easier than setting up a banner campaign and the banners will add themselves when you submit the campaign. To run a banner campaign, you need to have at least one banner in your banner library and a banner block in your email campaign template.
How do I set up a banner campaign?
In the Campaigns tab, expand the Automatic Campaigns category in the left menu and select Banner Campaign.
You fill in the campaign name and select which automated campaigns you want to set up banners for – you can select 1 or more, or all of them. A specific automated campaign (e.g. for Holiday Wishes) can only be selected in one banner campaign. You can have multiple banner campaigns set up, but different automated campaigns must be selected in each.
Check the banners you want to display in the campaigns (selected in the previous step) and they will be displayed in the campaigns according to the validity, priority and number of banner blocks in the template.
The image below shows 2 banners selected, one with validity and each with a different priority. If you had one block for a banner in the template, the banner called Incomaker Reshoper would display until 6/30/22, the banner called Banner 2 from 7/1 to 7/30, and then the Reshoper banner again.
If you had two banner blocks in the template, only the banner called Incomaker Reshoper would be displayed until 6/30/22, from 7/1 to 7/30 both banners would be displayed, and since Banner 2 has higher priority, it would be displayed first. After 7/30, only the Incomaker Reshoper banner would be displayed again.
You can set the priority and validity of the banners in the Banner Library.
To finish setting up your Banner Campaign, click Finish.
Editing a Banner Campaign
On the Campaigns tab, in the In Progress column, select the campaign you want to edit, click the three dots icon, and select Edit. Next, follow the same steps as in the previous steps.
